Eligibility and Benefits
Qualifying Life Event
A Qualifying Life Event allows you to adjust your health insurance outside the standard enrollment period. Some common qualifying life events include:
- The birth or adoption of a child
- Marriage, separation or divorce
- Lost qualifying health coverage
- And other special circumstances
You usually have 60 days after an event to update your health insurance.
