Rhonda, RN MSN
Rhonda has been with CHRISTUS Health for 17 years, including 11 years as a bedside nurse specializing in women’s and children’s health and six years in medical management. Originally from Arkansas, she also spent time as a nursing professor before transitioning to CHRISTUS Health. Rhonda is dedicated to making a difference in members’ lives through compassionate care and effective management. She believes that helping others brings meaning to life and works to extend that philosophy to her team and members.
LaTasha
La Tasha has been with CHRISTUS Health for seven years and currently serves as the Supervisor of Care Coordinators. A native of Dallas, Texas, she has 20 years of insurance experience and over a decade in healthcare. Her goal is to ensure members have access to care while advocating for their well-being. Outside of work, La Tasha is a skilled flutist and cellist. She lives by the motto, “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.”
Janette
Janette has been with CHRISTUS Health for nearly six years, gaining valuable knowledge across multiple departments. She resonates strongly with the company’s core value of compassion, which she defines as the motivation to alleviate others’ suffering. This value guides her work as she connects with members on a deeper level to address their struggles. Her dedication ensures that every interaction is driven by empathy and a commitment to helping others.
Forrtoria (Torie), RN
Originally from Mississippi, Torie now calls Texas home. She has been a registered nurse for eight years, with specialties in Mother/Baby, Newborn Nursery, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics. Torie earned her ADN from Itawamba Community College, her BSN from Mississippi University for Women, and is currently pursuing her MSN at the University of Texas at Arlington. With two years of care management experience, she is passionate about helping beneficiaries overcome barriers to achieve optimal health. Her goal is to make a meaningful difference in every member’s life through advocacy and personalized care.
Christine, RN CCM
Christine has been with CHRISTUS Health for eight years, working as a Nurse Case Manager for various plans, including Medicare, USFHP, and HIX. With 36 years of nursing experience, she is committed to supporting members through life’s medical challenges to achieve positive outcomes. Originally from outside Texas, she moved to the state at 19 and has called it home ever since. Christine’s dedication lies in providing compassionate guidance and unwavering support to every member she serves.
Helen
Helen has been with CHRISTUS Health for five months but brings 19 years of healthcare experience to her role as a Care Coordinator. Known for her empathy, Helen takes a hands-on approach to assisting members, treating each one like family. Her nurturing nature stems from being the youngest in her family, which taught her the value of care and understanding. Helen strives to provide the best possible support to meet each member’s unique needs.
Rita
With over five years of experience in a medical office, Rita understands the profound impact of compassion. In her role as a Care Coordinator at CHRISTUS Health, she uses her knowledge to help members navigate healthcare challenges. Rita is dedicated to embodying the mission of CHRISTUS Health: extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. She strives to make a meaningful difference in members’ lives by supporting their healthcare journeys with kindness and expertise.
Anita
Anita has been with CHRISTUS Health and AmeriCorps for just under two months, serving as a Public Health AmeriCorps Community HEART Work Member at the CHRISTUS System Office. In her role, she actively provides screenings, referrals, and navigation services to US Family Health Plan members. Her passion for health and hospitality began at age four, leading her to earn a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Human Development and Child Life Studies. Anita is dedicated to promoting health equity and healthcare access, with a focus on child development, health education, and community outreach. She is committed to making a positive impact in her community.
